Azul Pacifico is located in Anconcito, which is part of the Salinas County.
At Anconcito and the general Salinas County area, the weather is warm and clear from December to May and becomes cloudier and cooler the rest of the year.
The mean (or average) annual air temperature is 23 ºC (73 ºF), with the highest temperatures at 26 ºC (79 ºF) during February and March. The lowest temperatures registered at 21 ºC (70 ºF) during August and September.

The minimum absolute temperature registered is 15 ºC and the maximum absolute temperature registered is 33.6 ºC from 2000 to 2006 (by INAMHI).
The sea temperature at the surface for Anconcito averages 25 ºC (77 ºF) per year.
The lowest temperature is 23 ºC (73 ºF) which takes place from July to September. February and March have the highest temperatures at 27 ºC (81 ºF). |
In Anconcito, the mean annual rainfall is set between 100 mm to a little over 200 mm, being one of the driest areas in the Santa Elena province. Anconcito is generally dry with very little rainfall, the dryer season is generally from October to January, February to April are the months where you get the most rainfall but not surpassing 100 mm, from May to September the rainfall is little to none.
Humidity levels in Anconcito are generally at 80 to 83 percent. On some days, however, humidity levels can reach over 90 %. Predominant winds in Santa Elena and Anconcito have a SW to NE (southwest to northeast) direction, over 55% frequency. Other directions are W to E (less than 30% frequency), and other directions with much less frequency S-N, SE-NW, NW-SE with frequencies lower than 10%. The highest wind speeds are found in the area of Salinas where they reach 12.5 Kms. /hour. Wind speeds range from 2 meters/second to over 4 m/s.

A very interesting fact is that according to the national weather Institute of Ecuador (INAMHI), the Salinas area, including Anconcito (where Azul Pacifico is located), from December to May the average sunshine is 186.3 hours of sunlight a month, the highest level in all of Ecuador.
| Between June and November the average hours of sunshine lowers to 76.8 hours of sunlight a month. However, sunny days can be well expected in June and July and somewhat less in the following months until December. There can be by large areas of haze or mist throughout the period. |
